The Client: Wrstl Glasgow (Glasgow Wrestling)
Project Scope: Brand Identity Extension, Graphic Design, & Multi-Format Print Production
Deliverables: Brochures, Posters, Flyers, Folded Leaflets, and Welcome Packs.
1. The Challenge
Wrstl Glasgow needed a cohesive visual language that worked across various physical touchpoints. The challenge was to maintain the high energy and grit of wrestling culture while ensuring that informative materials—like welcome brochures and leaflets—remained professional, legible, and welcoming for new members.
2. The Strategy
Our approach focused on visual hierarchy and material selection.
-
For Marketing (Posters/Flyers): We used bold typography and high-contrast imagery to grab attention in a busy urban environment like Glasgow.
-
For Information (Leaflets/Welcome Packs): We transitioned into a cleaner, more structured layout to help readers digest class schedules, safety information, and membership tiers.
3. The Implementation
We executed a full-suite print run, ensuring color accuracy across different paper stocks:
| Deliverable | Design Focus | Print Specification |
| Posters & Flyers | High-impact "hero" imagery. | Silk finish for vibrant color reproduction. |
| Folded Leaflets | Compact navigation of services. | 150gsm / C-fold for easy distribution. |
| Welcome Brochures | Deep-dive into club culture & FAQ. | Premium uncoated stock for a tactile, "prestige" feel. |
4. The Results
The result was a professional, "all-in-one" brand experience. By providing a unified look across both large-format posters and handheld brochures, Wrstl Glasgow successfully:
-
Increased brand recognition within the local fitness and sports community.
-
Streamlined the onboarding process for new members via the Welcome Pack.
-
Established a high-quality physical presence that matches the intensity of their training.
"Working with Wrstl Glasgow allowed us to prove that 'tough' branding can still be incredibly polished. By balancing loud marketing materials with structured educational print, we helped them build a club identity that feels established and elite."
